As a registered psychologist, certified life coach and mindfulness trainer, I help people (individually and within organisations) to find clarity and peace of mind, define what truly matters to them and to live and act accordingly. Practising mindfulness has helped me personally to get unstuck from a life that didn't give me satisfaction and meaning, overcoming the fear and other obstacles preventing me from living the life I really wanted to live.
I have been coaching and supporting people from an HR role in (international) organisations for over 15 years, and since 2010 I have established a private life coaching practice in Brussels. I am also part of a group practice for psychologists where I offer individual counselling.
In the last few years I have been studying intensively with both national and international mindfulness teachers, amongst others Melanie Fennell from the Oxford Mindfulness Centre and Christopher Germer from the Harvard Medical School. My basic training as a mindfulness teacher was at the Flemish Institute for Attention and Mindfulness (I AM), and I am also qualified to teach the mindfulness based compassionate living course by Frits Koster. Furthermore, I co-founded the professional association for people working with mindfulness, vzw MOMENT as well as Brussels Mindfulness.
I teach mindfulness courses, retreats and workshops for groups of individuals and organisations in Dutch, French and English.
I am a Dutch-speaking Belgian, living a happily married life in Brussels. I love gastronomy, exploring cities, the beautiful landscapes of Italy, and enjoying a good concert or exhibition.
Working languages: English, Dutch and French.
