Meditation has been an important part of my life since 1985, I was 27 years old at the time and it is still the foundation of everything I do. Over the years, it has become increasingly clear to me how important the body is. Meditation starts with being embodied, with feeling safe in the body. Feeling this secure basis in the body is my approach, in a trauma-sensitive (SE) and systemic (IFS) way, in each group and individual coaching or supervision.
I completed the four-year MBSR teacher training course at the University of Massachusetts (Medical School) in the USA and have been teaching mindfulness training since 2012. I am also a MSC (mindfulness based compassion ) teacher and provide self-compassion 8-week courses since 2015 after following a training with Christopher Germer . In 2017 I graduated from three years of training in Somatic Experiencing, Trauma Healing. I also work as an IFS (internal family systems, level 1) Trainer and as a certified supervisor.
