The power of practising together
There is something special about taking time out together with others. Practising in a group can help deepen your experience, strengthen your motivation and create a sense of connection and support.
Throughout the day, we will explore a variety of practices, including guided meditation, mindful movement, mindful walking and moments of quiet reflection. Together, these practices help calm the nervous system, settle the mind and create space for greater balance and well-being.
The gift of silence and digital detox
The day will mostly take place in silence, with gentle guidance and instructions offered in English throughout the day.
As part of the experience, you are invited to enjoy a digital detox by switching your phone to flight mode or leaving it behind. If possible, please let family, friends, or colleagues know that you will be unavailable during the day, except in case of emergencies.
Stepping away from constant stimulation and embracing periods of silence can be deeply restorative. It allows the mind to settle, the nervous system to unwind, and a greater sense of calm, clarity, and inner balance to emerge.
For whom?
- Anyone looking to slow down and recharge
- People experiencing stress, busyness, or overwhelm
- Those wishing to deepen or refresh their mindfulness practice
- Professionals seeking greater balance and well-being
- Both beginners and experienced meditators are warmly welcome

Health & Well-being Guidelines - Retreats
Important information on your mental well-being and silent retreats
While meditation retreats can be very nourishing; they do require sustained meditation practice throughout your time there. This also demands some stability of psychological health and can be triggering for some people.
Have you experienced significant trauma or psychiatric illness, or are your currently struggling with your mental health such as with anxiety, depression, or burnout? If so, a retreat might not be the best option for you at the moment. The teacher might not be able to give you the kind of individual psychological care and support you need right now.
If you are currently under the care of a mental health professional, please discuss your attendance with them. You should be in a relatively stable period of mental well-being and have adequate psychological resilience.
Please fill in the questions in the registration form as open and honestly as possible, this will give us an idea of your current situation. The teacher of the retreat may reach out to you for more information
If you are unsure, or have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly at info@brusselsmindfulness.be.
