Do you sometimes find yourself caught in cycles of worry, anxiety, overthinking, or imagining worst-case scenarios?

Perhaps your mind keeps returning to the same concerns, making it difficult to relax, sleep well, concentrate, or fully enjoy the present moment.

While worry and overthinking may feel as if they help us prepare for the future, they often drain our energy, increase stress, and keep us disconnected from what is happening right now.

This small-group masterclass offers practical tools to help you step out of cycles of worry, anxiety and overthinking, calm the nervous system, and cultivate greater ease, resilience and peace of mind.

What you will take away

This session is designed to be highly practical and experiential.

In this interactive masterclass, you will learn to:

  • Understand the difference between helpful planning and unhelpful worrying
  • Recognise the patterns that keep anxiety and overthinking alive
  • Learn how the brain's threat system influences worry and stress
  • Develop practical tools to calm the nervous system in daily life
  • Discover how mindfulness can help you step out of repetitive worry and overthinking
  • Cultivate greater self-compassion when difficult emotions arise
  • Create a personalised plan with simple practices you can use immediately
  • Learn practical tools for managing worry, anxiety and mental overwhelm

How we will work

This is an interactive and experiential session — not a passive lecture.

You will be guided through a combination of:

  • short inputs grounded in neuroscience, mindfulness and positive neuroplasticity
  • guided mindfulness and self-compassion practices
  • individual reflection and practical exercises
  • gentle exchange in a safe and supportive setting
  • nourishing mindful movement and outdoor practice (weather permitting)

The focus is on real-life application — so that what you explore during the session can support you long after the workshop.

How we will work

What we will cover

  • Why the brain is naturally wired to worry
  • The relationship between thoughts, emotions and the nervous system
  • How to recognise common patterns of worry, anxiety and overthinking
  • Practical techniques to calm the body and mind
  • Self-compassion as an antidote to anxiety and self-criticism
  • Building small daily habits that foster calm, confidence and resilience
  • Practical mindfulness techniques for working with anxious thoughts and repetitive thinking

This masterclass is for you if you:

  • tend to worry or overthink
  • often feel mentally busy or overwhelmed
  • would like practical tools to manage anxiety more effectively
  • want to cultivate greater calm and emotional balance
  • appreciate a science-based and experiential approach

This may not be the right fit if you:

  • are looking for therapy or clinical treatment for severe anxiety
  • prefer a purely lecture-style format without interaction

A small-group experience

About the approach

This masterclass combines elements of:

  • neuroscience (understanding how the brain responds to uncertainty and perceived threat)
  • mindfulness (learning to relate differently to thoughts and emotions)
  • positive neuroplasticity (strengthening inner resources such as calm, confidence and safety)
  • self-compassion (developing a kinder relationship with yourself)

The intention is not to eliminate all worry, but to help you respond to life's challenges with greater clarity, steadiness and ease.
