Brussels Mindfulness is recruiting an Assistant (10h/week)

We are a small company providing mindfulness courses, retreats and workshops to companies and private individuals.

For our administration and the practical organisation of our operations we are looking for an organized and professional assistant (mainly virtual).

You will be responsible for

  1. CRM: Managing the CRM tool autorespond (newsletters, mailings, products, invoicing).
  2. Organizing events on an administrative level: financial simulations, booking locations, coordinating with teachers, managing the internal calendar, creating and evaluating surveys, helping out during events etc.
  3. Website management: Publishing and updating events, content pages and blog articles, SEO.
  4. Social media: Google ads, Facebook, google business etc.
  5. Customer satisfaction: Responding to and managing participants’ requests and questions.

You will be enjoying

  • Flexible hours adapted to your working schedule (with an agreement for specific time slots, ideally mornings)
  • Mainly working from home
  • 1.200,- € per month (excl VAT) on a freelance basis
  • 10 hours week (guaranteed on a 12-month basis). Busy periods may require more hours, which can be recovered in time off later.

Your profile

  • College qualification or equivalent.
  • Prior experience as an administrative and/or operational assistant.
  • Languages:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
    • Good knowledge of French
    • At least a passive knowledge of Dutch is an asset
  • Fully computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ideally experience in working with CRM and CMS-systems or willingness to learn new tools.
  • Highly organized and structured. Being able to handle different sets of information as well as keeping an overview of priorities and loose ends. Able to deal with change and time pressure. precise and with attention to detail.
  • Interested in the world of mental growth and mindfulness.
  • Based in Belgium.
  • We are looking for a long-term collaboration, ideally of 2 years or more.
