In the focused leadership course, we offer techniques and attitudes specifically for people who are in leadership positions. Some are similar to the ones in the 8-week course, such as emotional regulation, attention and energy management. Others are different as we take a step back and look at what really matters to us as leaders – in order to move from fire extinguishing to a true leadership presence. Therefore, we use moments of contemplation and reflection where we step away from the busy doing to look at our vision, purpose and values in life. We believe that presence and kindness can be trained – just like any other skill – and therefore spend a great deal of this training on how to bring more humanity and kindness towards yourself and your employees.
