Mindfulness workshop for teens
A 3-hour mindfulness workshop for teenagers 13-17 years old (high school).
With mindfulness teacher Kirsten Victor.
Do you sometimes feel a little stressed? Or even a little down and you don’t really know how to get out of this bad mood?
In this time of your life, your brain is undergoing a lot of change. On top of this, a lot of teenagers feel pressured to perform at school, feel social pressure or the need to be constantly online. This can cause difficulty to concentrate or sleep, and can make you exhausted.
In this workshop you will learn some practical mindfulness tools for everyday life and some principles of the mindful-teens programme. You’ll learn to notice what is already good in your life, and how to be strong when life is difficult and to trust yourself. There will be time for sharing, practicing and learning. Topics include relaxation practices, finding an inner anchor of stability, how to deal with difficult emotions, and more.
You will learn to notice when you are stressed and to grow resources which will help you to take conscious actions to lead a happy and fulfilled life.
Kirsten Victor is an experienced mindfulness teacher, offering programmes for families, adults, children and teens.
