Staying sane in stressful times
Tuesday 2 March from 19.30 to 21.00 CET, with Alena Reisinger. An interactive workshop in which you will learn how to feel less anxious and stay sane in these lockdown times.
Do you want to take care of your mental health in these uncertain times?
Do you feel tired and exhausted, or have difficulties concentrating with all that's going on?
Do you get stressed by the overwhelming quantity of tasks and demands that you face every day?
Are you wondering how you can find some peace of mind in the midst of these turbulent times?
In this introductory workshop for beginners, you will discover how to respond adequately to stressful situations and to be more in the present moment. There will be a mix of teaching, practising and sharing just like in our 8-week mindfulness courses, so you can have a first impression.
You will discover
- How to stay sane in challenging circumstances and deal effectively with stress
- How to find inner calm and joy even in lockdown time
- How to make more conscious choices in pressured situations
- How to access and use some resources of mindfulness on a daily basis
The workshop will be in English. It will be an interactive workshop in which you will learn more on how stress actually works, what its effects are and how mindfulness can help you to deal better with it.
In this video, our teachers explain why practising mindfulness is more important than ever:
We will be doing some practical exercises and meditations that will teach you a new way to better deal with the hustle and bustle of daily life and to take good care of yourself in these challenging times. You will take away insights and some techniques you can start using from day one.
The workshop also explains the features of our upcoming 8-week online mindfulness course with Alena, starting on Tuesday 9 March. You will be able to ask questions and share your experiences – or you can just listen, which is perfectly fine. You are welcome as you are!
If you already want to get some insights in some self-care practices you can do in the meantime, have a look at our article about staying sane in winter lockdown.
