Day of Nourishment – A sanctuary for rest and renewal
Come home to yourself with a day of mindfulness, stillness, and inner calm.
Sunday 14 September 2025, from 10.00 to 16.30 CET
With senior mindfulness and positive neuroplasticity teacher Beate Trück
Come home to yourself
As the school year draws to a close and responsibilities pile up, it’s easy to feel depleted. This Day of Nourishment offers you a rare chance to pause, breathe, and replenish from within.
Join us for a peaceful day of mindfulness, silence, and gentle movement. With guidance from experienced teachers, you’ll explore grounding and calming practices to restore your energy, quiet the mind, and reconnect with what truly matters.
Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or simply longing for stillness in the midst of daily life, this retreat is an invitation to slow down, rest deeply, and return to a sense of inner calm and clarity.

Why take a day of nourishment?
A full day of mindfulness helps you refresh and deepen your practice. It can reawaken your connection with meditation, boost your motivation, and offer the support of practicing in a group.
All guidance will be trauma-sensitive, allowing you to feel as safe and supported as possible throughout the day.
We will explore a variety of practices including meditation, mindful walking, gentle stretching, and breathing – all aimed at calming the mind and tuning into what’s truly nourishing.
The retreat will be held mostly in silence, with instructions provided in English. You are encouraged to refrain from phone use during the day.

Some benefits of a day of nourishment
- Feeling more rested, relaxed, and calm
- Improved focus and clarity
- Greater physical and emotional well-being
- A deepened mindfulness practice
- Renewed sense of freedom and spaciousness
- Clarity around what truly matters to you
- A kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself
- A sense of connection with like-minded participants
The location - a haven of peace
The retreat will take place at the Insititue of Neurocognivitism, a beautifully restored Maison de maître in the heart of Brussels. With its spacious rooms, peaceful atmosphere, and serene garden, it’s the perfect place to slow down and reconnect. If the weather allows, we will enjoy some practices outdoors, surrounded by the gentle sounds and colours of nature.

Health & Well-being Guidelines - Retreats
Important information on your mental well-being and silent retreats
While meditation retreats can be very nourishing; they do require sustained meditation practice throughout your time there. This also demands some stability of psychological health and can be triggering for some people.
Have you experienced significant trauma or psychiatric illness, or are your currently struggling with your mental health such as with anxiety, depression, or burnout? If so, a retreat might not be the best option for you at the moment. The teacher might not be able to give you the kind of individual psychological care and support you need right now.
If you are currently under the care of a mental health professional, please discuss your attendance with them. You should be in a relatively stable period of mental well-being and have adequate psychological resilience.
Please fill in the questions in the registration form as open and honestly as possible, this will give us an idea of your current situation. The teacher of the retreat may reach out to you for more information
If you are unsure, or have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly at info@brusselsmindfulness.be.
