With mindfulness teacher Lorinda Brinton.
What to bring
- your own lunch (micro waves and dishes are available in the location).

- water bottle (can be refilled)
- warm socks (and slippers)
- a blanket to cover yourself during relaxation
Come and exhale
Has it been a while since you have taken a day for yourself? A day with some self-care?
If so, consider joining our spring Day of Nourishment!
Sometimes taking care of ourselves seems difficult, especially when we’re busy or feeling stressed. It can help to take a pause - a pause from daily routines and everyday life. Time in which we can disconnect and be in a place of stillness.
Come and exhale. Discover what it’s like to give yourself the gift of taking care: of your breath, of your body and mind. Be with others and feel the connection during this guided day of mindfulness and nourishment.
Recharge from within
More than ever it is important to prioritize self-care. Benefit from a day in stillness and calm where guided mindfulness practices will help your mind to come to rest and tap into the inner calm that can be found within all of us. Gentle movement practices will support you to reset and re-energize your body and mind. This day can be a powerful energy boost, helping you to see more clearly what you need to flourish.
Refresh your practice
A day of mindfulness allows you to take a deeper dive, so you can refresh and deepen your practice. This can help you reconnect with meditation and boost your motivation to continue with it on a daily basis. You can also feel the benefit of meditating in a group.
We will practice a mix of different forms of meditation, mindful walking and stretching, to bring your mind to rest and to tune into what really matters to you.
The day will mostly take place in silence, with English instructions given by the teacher. We also encourage you to refrain from using your phone.
For whom?
Ideally, you already have some experience with mindfulness and/or yoga. If you are completely new to mindfulness or yoga, please get in touch with us at info@brusselsmindfulness.be.

Important information on your mental well-being and silent retreats
While meditation retreats can be very nourishing; they do require sustained meditation practice throughout your time there. This also demands some stability of psychological health and can be triggering for some people.
Have you experienced significant trauma or psychiatric illness, or are your currently struggling with your mental health such as with anxiety, depression, or burnout? If so, a retreat might not be the best option for you. The teacher might not be able to give you the kind of individual psychological care and support you need right now.
If you are currently under the care of a mental health professional, please discuss your attendance with them. You should be in a relatively stable period of mental well-being and have adequate psychological resilience.
Please fill in the questions in the registration form as open and honestly as possible, this will give us an idea of your current situation. The teacher of the event may reach out to you for more information
If you are unsure, or have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly at info@brusselsmindfulness.be.
