1-day mindfulness retreat to pause and to nourish yourself from within.

Do you feel exhausted from all the rusing? Come and take a pause with us to resource and noursih yourself from within with mindfulness. Benefit from a day in stillness and calm where guided mindfulness practices will help your busy mind to come to rest. This day can be a powerful boost to your energy and to a sense of peace in the busyness of your life. It will help you to see more clearly what you need to step out of the hamster wheel and to flourish in your life.
Maybe you have done a mindfulness course in the past, you already practice yoga or meditation on your own? It's not always easy to keep up a daily practice. Somehow, daily life takes over again and again and even though you know the value of mindfulness, you don't practise it as much as you'd like to.
A day of mindfulness allows you to take a deeper dive, so you can at the same time refresh and deepen your practice. This can help you reconnect with meditation, and boost your motivation to continue with it on a daily basis. You can also feel the benefit of meditating in a group again.
We will practice a mix of different forms of meditation, walks in nature and some mindful yoga, to bring your mind at rest and to tune into what really matters to you.
There will also be enough free time to experience the beautiful domain and the surrounding fields.
The day will mostly take place in silence, with English instructions given by the trainer.

The day will take place in "The Abode", a 200-year old farm in Sint Martens Lennik, just 20 minutes from Brussels.
The place is a haven of peace, with sheep and fields around it. The hosts, Inge and Hugo, who are passionate yoga teachers themselves, have restored the farm in a very authentic way and 100% energy neutral.
Around the farm there are many beautiful walks though the fields.
Tea, coffee and snacks are available throughout the retreat.
There will also be free time where you can either walk alone or rest in the spacious grange, the cozy living room or on the terrace next to the pond.

11.00 - 11.20: Coffee break
11.20 - 12.30: Mindful walking and sitting meditation
12.30 - 13.30: Silent lunch
13.30 - 14.30: Mindful walk in nature using all senses
14.30 - 15.30: Sitting meditation & reflection
15.30 - 15.45: Tea-time
15.45 - 16.30: Mindful stretching, relaxation and closing session
16.30 - 17.00: Departures
Beate Trück is managing partner and trainer at Brussels Mindfulness. She is an experienced mindfulness trainer, trained for MBSR and Positive Neuroplasticity at Arbor-Seminare in Germany, and has given many retreats to an international audience over the past years. Participants like her warm and inclusive style and some of them come back regularly to her retreats.
