Residential retreat for everyone who wants to replenish and have time for stillness and contemplation at the end of the year.

The end of the year is generally filled with lots of get-togethers with family and friends. Quite often we are exhausted after the Christmas period and do not find the time to pause and reflect on the past year. In the past years, this end of the year mini-retreat has been very popular as it allows to find some time for yourself and for stillness.
We will be using the silence to recharge ourselves from the busy period before and to deepen the mindfulness practices. Together we will step out of the busy 'doing mode' and switch to being and sensing. We will reflect on what has been helpful and good in the past year and what needs to be changed, replaced by new activities, or added to our life. What are the priorities I would like to set for the coming year? How can I support my healing and growing? How can I find more time for myself again?
While most of the retreat is in silence there will be some sharing moments to use the wisdom of the group and to encourage each other.
There will also be time for yourself to journal, walk in the beautiful surroundings or simply rest.
You will be nourished by the power of group meditations, the silence, beautiful nature and the delicious food prepared with love by our hosts, Inge and Hugo.

The retreat will take place in "The Abode", a 200-year old farm in Sint Martens Lennik, just 20 minutes from Brussels.
The place is a haven of peace, with sheep and fields around it. The hosts, Inge and Hugo, who are passionate yoga teachers themselves, have restored the farm in a very authentic way and 100% energy neutral.
Around the farm there are many beautiful walks though the fields.
Tea, coffee and snacks are available throughout the retreat.
There will also be free time where you can either walk alone or rest in the spacious grange, the cozy living room or on the terrace next to the pond.

Steve Savels is co-founder and trainer at Brussels Mindfulness. He is an experienced trainer who has led several retreats and days of mindfulness. People appreciate his gentle and calm style with lots of humour.
Rate for the retreat of 1 night with meals and accommodation in a shared twin room with private bathroom: € 330.
Register now and pay only a deposit of € 150. Balance due beginning of December 2018.
