2-nights Weekend Retreat from Friday evening 21 to Sunday 23 April 2017

At the beautiful former monastery “Rosario” in Flemish Pajottenland

Celebrate life with mindfulness.

With Steve Savels.

For people who wish to deepen or refresh their mindfulness practice.

We will focus on creating more joy in our lives, appreciating and taking in the good. A mix of different forms of meditation and some mindful yoga will be offered to find a more balanced and centred energy.

There will also be enough free time to enjoy walks through the surrounding fields, or simply relaxing in or around the charming old monastery.

The retreat will partly be given in silence, with English instructions. At specific moments there is also the possibility to talk individually to the trainer.

The retreat is an opportunity for those who have some experience with mindfulness and/or yoga to deepen or to refresh their mindfulness practice.

Some benefits of a mindfulness retreat

  • Feeling more rested, relaxed and calm.
  • Gaining greater physical and psychological wellbeing.
  • Having practical tools how to establish a daily mindfulness practice when you go back home.
  • Gaining a new sense of inner freedom and will be able to see more clearly what really matters to you.
  • Having an idea how to stop some unhelpful habits in your life and replace them by more useful ones.

The venue

The retreat will take place in “Rosario”, a former monastery in the peaceful village of Bever in the Flemish Pajottenland.

The location is a haven of peace, on the edge of a small and peaceful village. The hosts, Johan and Sofie, are passionate music lovers and regularly organise intimate concerts in the chapel that will be our meditation room.

Around the monastery there are many beautiful walks though the fields.

The food is very tasty, organic and homemade. Tea, coffee, fruit and snacks are available throughout the retreat.

The rooms are spacious, eco-friendly and very comfortable with private bathrooms.

There will also be free time where you can either walk alone or rest in the spacious chapel, the cozy living rooms or in the beautiful garden (with a small natural swimming pool).
