On a daily basis we are being bombarded with advice on what to eat, and more specifically which nutrients to avoid. Things that used to be innocent like gluten, carbs, lactose or saturated fats are now presented as harmful toxins. Trying to eat consciously and healthily has become a daunting and worrying task.
