A day of mindfulness on Sunday 9 July 2017

At the beautiful farm “The Abode” in the Flemish Pajottenland close to Brussels

Experience how mindfulness helps you to find deep relaxation.

For people who already practice mindfulness.

A mix of different forms of meditation, walks in nature and some mindful yoga will be offered to bring your mind at rest and to tune into what really matters to you.

There will also be enough free time to experience the beautiful domain and the surrounding fields.

The day will partly take place in silence, with English instructions given by the trainer.

The day of mindfulness is an opportunity for those who have done a mindfulness course to deepen or to refresh their mindfulness practice.

The venue

The day will take place in “the Abode”, a 200-year old farm in Sint Martens Lennik, just 20 minutes from Brussels.

The place is a haven of peace, with sheep and fields around it. The hosts, Inge and Hugo, who are passionate yoga teachers themselves, have restored the farm in a very authentic way and 100% energy neutral.

Around the farm there are many beautiful walks though the fields.

The food is very tasty, organic and homemade. Tea, coffee and snacks are available throughout the retreat.

There will also be free time where you can either walk alone or rest in the spacious grange, the cozy living room or on the terrace next to the pond.

Arrival between 9.00 and 9.30.

9.30. – 11.00: Introductions, mindful yoga and opening meditation

11.00 – 11.20: Coffee break

11.20 -12.30: Mindful walking and sitting meditation

12.30 – 13.30: Silent lunch

13.30 – 14.30: Mindful walk in nature using all senses

14.30 – 16.00: Sitting meditation & reflection

16.00 – 16.20: Tea-time

16.20 – 17.30: Mindful stretching, relaxation and closing session

17.30 – 18.00: Departures

The trainer

DSC_0525-Steve-smallSteve Savels, co-founder of the Brussels Mindfulness Institute. Steve is an experienced mindfulness trainer and has given many mindfulness courses, retreats and mindfulness days to an international audience over the past years.

Participants appreciate his kind and calm style with lots of humour.
