The 6-week programme

In this training programme you will learn to integrate mindfulness skills in your daily life as a parent.

This course can be a perfect follow-up of the 8-week-mindfulness course. However, no prior knowledge of mindfulness is necessary to attend the course.

  • 6 weekly group sessions of 2 hours.
  • Comprehensive manual with handouts and worksheets, and audio downloads to support your practice.
  • Lots of practical exercises to build mindfulness into your daily schedule without needing to invest extra time.
  • Programme based on the works of outstanding mindfulness experts such as Jon Kabat-Zinn, Dan Siegel and Rick Hanson.
  • Course led by a mindfulness trainer with a special formation in mindful parenting.
  • Beautiful and convenient location, easy to reach with public transport.

This course will be given in English.

Extra: combine the course with a Day of Mindfulness

In order to deepen your understanding of mindfulness, and integrate it even more deeply into your daily life, you can combine this course with a Day of Mindfulness.

These days usually take place on Sundays, on a beautiful and tranquil location outside of Brussels.

A mix of different forms of meditation, walks in nature and some mindful yoga will be offered to bring your mind at rest and to tune into what really matters to you.

If you combine a Day of Mindfulness with the 6-week course, you get it at the reduced rate of € 100 instead of the full rate of € 115.

The trainer

BERENICE BOXLER

Berenice-Boxler“After having had my first child I realised that there has to be something more than doing and organising and planning: simply being a person, a mother, a partner, a friend. Berenice is training as an MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) trainer, with a specialisation in Mindful Parenting. She has attended many workshops on this topic, amongst others with Jon Kabat-Zinn, the “founding father” of mindfulness.
